The narrowest peak of all nine leagues
Sporting CP generate €200.85m in income, or 36.8% of all league income — the highest single share anywhere in this data set. With Benfica (€128.40m) and Braga (€66.10m), the top three reach 72.4%.
On the spending side concentration is higher still: 80.9% sits with the top three. The remaining fifteen clubs share roughly €59m.
Porto break the pattern
Porto take in €44.00m and spend €32.50m. The resulting +€11.50m is strikingly modest for a Portuguese top club — below Famalicão (+€36.25m), a club with no European income.
Famalicão are the league’s most interesting individual result: €42.75m in income against €6.50m spent, a ratio of 6.6:1.
The bottom third barely trades
Fourteen of eighteen clubs finish in surplus, but the sums are small. Santa Clara, for instance, take in €7.89m and spend €0.02m. Alverca and Moreirense record no transfer income at all.
The weakest result belongs to Rio Ave (−€6.50m) — in absolute terms a figure that would sit within the rounding margin in England.
