Four clubs above €100m
AC Milan (€165.05m), Juventus (€164.35m), Fiorentina (€150.30m) and AS Roma (€124.50m) form the spending tier. Together they account for 52% of league expenditure — noticeably more concentrated than England, but a long way from the Spanish picture.
Milan are the only club leading both sides: €87.00m in income is the league high, as is €165.05m in spending. The balance still lands clearly negative at −€78.05m.
Bologna, Atalanta, Parma: the productive Italy
The league’s best balance belongs to Bologna (+€56.80m), ahead of Atalanta (+€53.50m) and Parma (+€47.20m). All three run the same model: high income on moderate spending. Atalanta take in €72.50m and spend €19.00m.
Genoa are a curiosity of this data set: €36.05m in income against exactly €36.05m in spending — a balance of zero to the euro.
The promoted clubs diverge
Venezia (€44.50m) and Frosinone (€30.60m) spend heavily, while Monza stay more restrained at €17.80m. On the income side Venezia surprise with €31.78m — more than established clubs such as Torino or Lecce.
